Ragdoll Stopping Velocity

I’ve recently been doing a lot of scripting that utilizes ragdoll creation and velocity. I’ve come to realize that when activating the ragdoll, it completely stops all velocity. I narrowed the issue down to either creating ball-socket constraints within the player or disabling the player’s motor6ds. I believe the issue was the disabling of the motor6ds, but I kind of forgot. Help would be very appreciated!
