AI
Details
-Ai Plane
The AI plane is part of the Gegner team to support them in defending the invasion. The AI plane fires explosive projectiles that can be dodged while evading them, although they have a small blast radius. It targets Tenuem players, and attacks the closest enemy. It can be defeated using the Panzerfaust 60 or M1A1 Bazooka, although hitting it would be a challenge. It can also be defeated using small arms, although it requires well placed shots, which are difficult even with a high fire-rate weapon. After being destroyed, it will no longer attack. There is a current bug of the planes base still flying around after being destroyed, but it cannot fire anymore bullets, and is considered harmless.
VEHICLES
Details
-Landing Craft (Higgins Boat)
Details
The Landing Craft, or Higgins Boat is a landing craft designed to transport players from their spawn onto the islands. Because swimming in ineffective, the landing crafts prove to be very effective. The landing craft travels at a max speed of 32 knots, and can carry 16 seated players, with the ability to hold standing players. Additional seats are the driver and assistant driver seats.
The landing crafts can protect against small arms from the sides and rear, but the door does not protect against bullets. There is no roof, so bullets from above can take out players. Two critical spots are not protective against bullets, which makes the landing crafts vulnerable to attacks from pillboxes or land. The landing craft cannot protect against anti-tank weapons, and will be destroyed within a single shot.
-Landing Vehicle Tracked (LVT, Landing Vehicle)
Details
The Landing Vehicle Tracked, or LVT for short is a landing vehicle designed to transport players from their spawn onto the islands. Because swimming in ineffective, the landing vehicle proves to be very effective. The landing vehicle travels at a max speed of about 30 knots, and can carry 8 seated players, with the ability to hold standing players. Additional seats are the driver and assistant driver seats.
The advantage of the landing vehicle compared to the landing craft is the ability to drive on land and water, and its better armor. Because the landing vehicle can drive on land, it can be both a landing craft and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). The landing vehicle protects from small arm bullets on most angles, but like the landing craft, it is vulnerable on the roof side.
The landing vehicle cannot protect against anti-tank weapons, and will be destroyed within a single shot.
-Airplane
Details
The airplane is an aerodynamic vehicle that takes flight in the air. It can travel over 200 knots, but only carries 1 player. The airplane does not have any mounted weapons, instead it acts as a kamikaze plane. Because it is hard to steer, and is not designed for a small map, it is better suited to crash into players and vehicles. It can destroy vehicles and take out a small crowd of players in a successful crash.
The airplane can protect from small arm bullets, although like most other vehicles in this list, it has no roof to protect against bullets. The advantage is that the airplane is usually above the level of firing a normal player has. Anti-tank weapons can take out airplanes in a single shot, but the advantage is that the airplane is very fast. In the case the airplane does get hit with an anti-tank weapon, the plane will explode, taking out the pilot. In the case the airplane crashes into someone or something, the plane, pilot, and whatever it hit will be taken out (excluding anchored buildings, such as huts and pillboxes).
Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E (Panzer VI Ausf. E, Tiger I)
Details
The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E, commonly known as the Tiger I is an armored vehicle designed to attack opposing players. Because it is fully armored, the Tiger I proves to be very effective against normal infantry players. The Tiger I travels at a max speed of about 10-15 knots, and has a crew of 5 players. The driver and gunner are the main crew members, while the other members of Commander, Assistant Driver/ Radio Tech, and Loader do not perform any task (although the Commander can play the actual role of commanding the tank). The Tiger I can be used with only a driver and gunner.
The Tiger I can protect against small arms from the all sides of the hull, although the top of the tank hull and all sides beside the front of the turret does not protect against small arm bullets. The roof is thinly armored, so small arm bullets can penetrate through the top. The sides of the turret are also thinly armored, making it vulnerable to small arms, although the front of the turret protects against small arm bullets well. Another critical flaw is that the commander is seated outside the tank, so small arms can defeat the commander.
Most of the tank is protected against infantry, but the tank crew can possibly be defeated if they were hit enough times in thinly armored areas. Anti-tank weapons like the Panzerfaust 60 or M1A1 Bazooka can single shot the tank. The tank also has no functional Co-axial or hull secondary weapons, making it possible to be ambushed by infantry groups.
The Tiger I cannon has a reload rate of 8 seconds, or about 7.5 rounds per minute. It can defeat other vehicles, and using HEAT (High Explosive Anti Tank) or Explosive ammunition, it can defeat other players with well places shots. It also has a smoke round, which camouflages the tank for 15 seconds.
PHYSICS
Details
-Water Physics
Details
The water physics in the game Rallying Point serve to be slightly realistic. Because players are fully geared, they cannot swim very well in water. For the Tenuem players gear, with webbing and a full weapon setup, they will fall to the bottom of the ocean in under 5 seconds. It is possible to swim upwards, but would be hard.
With no different to the Gegner team, players will sink to the bottom of the ocean with full gear. But, unlike the Tenuem teams gear, the Gegner players will sink to the bottom of the ocean in under 5 seconds even without any weapons equipped, due to heavier gear.
It may be possible to temporarily sink a landing craft or landing vehicle with enough players in full gear, but it has not yet been tested.
-Airplane physics
Details
With airplanes, the system is designed to be more realistic in the way a plane flies in the air. If a plane crashes into a solid object, considering the speed of the plane it may or may not explode (in other words, if the plane moves slowly into a wall, it doesn’t explode, but if it moves quickly into a wall it will explode).
Crashing into the water will also explode the plane unless the airplane falls into the ocean slowly. In that case, it can slowly “fly” in the water, although it is recommended to get out of the plane, it will sink and the player will lose oxygen.
-Oxygen
Details
Players have a limited amount of oxygen. If the water line rises above their mouth level, the player will have to hold their breath. Players have about 25-30 seconds of oxygen before they start to drown, and within about 10 seconds of maximum health and 0 oxygen the player will suffocate and die.
If the player reaches the top of the water line, their oxygen will automatically rise to the max level.
-Falling
Details
Players will experience fall damage. This is to add a little more realism, and to deter players from simply jumping off ledges to cut time. Within a certain distance, players will take fall damage, and at a tall enough height, die of fall damage.
Underwater, if the player sinks fast enough, they will take damage. If a player falls into water from a greater height, they will also take fall damage.
-Ragdolls
Details
Players will ragdoll apon dying, to add a bit of realism. If the player is taken out by small arm bullets, such as rifle bullets, pistol bullets, or machine gun bullets, they will ragdoll, which is also a quick indicator for other players to visually see who died.
If a player gets hit by an explosion, their body parts will separate and fly in the air instead of ragdolling, in order to add a bit more realism.
CHARACTERS

MAP LAYOUT
Details
-Island Point A
Details
Island Point A is the main capturing point of the game. Because it has well elevated pillbox positions, it can be a challenge to capture the point if players fire down from those elevated positions.
Island Point A is the largest island in the map, and has vehicles and weapons, like the Tiger I and MG 42 ready for use.
Island Point A is built on the volcanic island. It consists of a small volcano, two elevated pillbox locations, a Tiger I spawn, and the A point capture.
-Island Point B
Details
Island Point B is a secondary capture point of the game. Because it has a deep trench dug into it from the secondary island next to the capture point, can be a challenge to capture the point if players fire in the cover of the trenches.
Island Point B is the second largest island in the map, but only has one highly elevated pillbox location, which is built on top of a natural pillar.
Island Point B is built on two small islands. The capture point is on top of a small cliff, hidden in trees. Players must climb upwards to the cliff in order to get the capture point, which leaves them vulnerable to enemy fire. Island Point B consists of a highly elevated pillbox, a deeply dug trench, and two islands located very close to each other.
-Island Point C
Details
Island Point C is a secondary capture point of the game. Because it has a historic cannon defense wall built into it, Island Point C can be a challenge to capture the point if enemies use the field artillery to fire at landing craft and vehicles.
Island Point C is the smallest island in the map, but has six artillery cannons built on a defensive wall.
The capture point is right next to the Gegner spawn, which makes it very easy for the Gegner team to recapture the point if it was captured by the Tenuem team. Island Point C consists of a historic cannon defensive wall, the Capture point C, and many trees that can camouflage enemies.
-Tenuem Landing Ship
Details
The Tenuem Landing Ship is a main spawn point for the Tenuem team. It has the M1A1 Bazooka crates, as well as six Landing Craft spawns.
The Tenuem Landing Ship is not steerable, and not capturable.
-Tenuem Aircraft Carrier
Details
The Tenuem Aircraft Carrier is a main spawn point for the Tenuem team. It does not have any weapon crates, but has an Airplane spawn.
The Tenuem Aircraft Carrier is not steerable, and not capturable.
-Tenuem Captured Island
Details
The Tenuem Captured Island is a main spawn point for the Tenuem team. It has the M2 Carbine, M3A1, and M1903 Springfield weapon crates, as well as a Landing Vehicle spawn.
The Tenuem Captured Island is not capturable.
-Spawn Locations
Details
There are seven total spawn locations, six of them going to the two teams, three for each team.
The Gegner spawn locations are on Island Point A and C.
The Tenuem spawn locations are on the Tenuem Landing Craft, Tenuem Aircraft Carrier, and Tenuem captured island.
The Teamless spawn location is inside the beginning spawn location.
CONTROLS
Details
-Vehicle Movement
Details
Vehicle movement is very simple. For the Landing Craft, Landing Vehicle, and Tiger I you steer and drive using WASD, much like moving your character.
For the Tiger I, the turret controls are imbedded on a UI when a player sits on the gunner seat.
Traverse Left/ Right: A/D
Elevate Main Cannon Up/ Down: W/S
Fire Shell: F
Load Ammunition Types: B, N, M
For the Airplane controls, it is controlled with more complex keybinds.
Engine Throttle Increase/ Decrease: W/S
Pitch/ Yaw: Mouse
Turn Left/ Right: A/D
-Player Movement
Details
Player movement consists of only WASD and Spacebar.
-Weapons
Details
For every weapon there are the same controls. As said in the in-game tutorial, the controls are simple.
F: Take aim
R: Reload weapon (for an empty weapon, it will fully load it. For half-loaded weapons, it will top off the ammunition. Open-bolt guns like the M3A1, MP-40, and MG-42 cannot be loaded with an additional round unlike closed-bolt weapons like the M1 Garand, M2 Carbine, STG-44, M1911, M1903 Springfield, Gewehr 98, and P38.)
LMB: Fire projectile
RMB: Aim weapon
B: Mount Bayonet (Only for standard-issue rifles)
X: Bayonet combat (RMB blocks other melee attacks instead of aiming)
C: Crouch (only when weapon is equipped)
Left Shift: Sprint (only when weapon is equipped)
