Random 277 errors and ping locks even when my connection is fine

been trying to play roblox for a while now, and i keep getting it to either just freeze in terms of ping, or stay at good ping and just throw an error 277 (disconnection)

my wifis fine and its never happened in this way before even while my wifi was giving stupidly high ping going as high as 413.6k

tryna play ultimate mining tycoon. cant play more than a minute without a 277 with no actual signs of disconnecting (although it did turn off my wifi once, which is another issue i reported back in february)

tryna play a rhythm game. ping gets locked at over 3k as soon as i try loading the songs menu

i literally cant play roblox because of this

i should actually give system specs and reproduction steps too

specs:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
  • AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
  • 16GB ram
  • TP-Link Wireless N PCI Express Adapter

reproduction steps:

  • play roblox (unsure if ethernet matters since im currently on wifi)

this might also be an issue with dsl based stuff since ik roblox struggles with that a lot which is what that “other issue” was mostly about. im on an adsl connection

I reviewed the logs that you have attached. The logs indicate a network connectivity issue, which is the reason you are seeing disconnection with error code 277. It would be a good idea to check your network connectivity when this happens next time.

ill try to. but i think its part to do with terrain data being sent to my client on top of the bandwidth usage issue i reported in february

which btw, it cant be a system issue since several people are experiencing practically the exact same thing. one commenter also mentioned that from the packet graph i showed you, roblox only accounts for 20 KB of data a second, yet uses at least 1 MB sometimes (which directly ties into how high my ping is). thats going to cause wifi crashes so if that could be brought up with the engines devs or smtn that would be greatly appreciated
