Random Graphics Issue Which Make Roblox Unplayable

My friend called me and he wanted to play Roblox, so we hopped on, during play I got a random graphics issue while playing that didn’t go away. Currently, it’s still here. (I don’t know if it’ll go away or not.)

I have a clip of it happening in MM2 and I found that the game corrupted itself right when the popup of me joining a friend on the top appeared, don’t know if it’s a coincidence but it’s really irritating.

My only fix is deleting the “Roblox” folder inside %localappdata% and would fix the whole problem but it will come back anyways, the game was running fine since yesterday and I had no problems opening it the first time.

Things I’ve tried: Rejoining a game, restarting Roblox, restarting my computer, reinstalling Roblox, installing FrostStrap, changing my graphics API in FrostStrap (Don’t wanna use OpenGL, so I didn’t try that one, my computer would hate it.)

The weird thing is that it only happens in Roblox, so I know it’s a Roblox issue. I’ve tried it on Roblox Studio, R.E.P.O, and Baldi’s Basics Plus, none of them produced the result I kept getting in the normal Roblox Client.

Note: This is my first time writing a post, so if I did something wrong, I didn’t mean that.

Expected behavior

The game’s graphics process working normally for longer.

I was playing fine earlier, this could’ve been a one time thing but I don’t know if it’s still around and if I was just lucky that it didn’t mess up this time. But I’m not going to mark this solved as it seemed a little suspicious that it only happened on Roblox and after I did all that if my game was just corrupted.
I found a specific file inside “%AppData%/Local/Roblox/” that was called “shadercachevk.bin”, I simply deleted it and reopened Roblox and my problem fixed, but I’m still unsure if it’s really fixed due to deleting the folder deleted the file anyways.

Hi - checking in. I can imagine several reasons why this might be transient and disappear after a while, from drivers to a legit Roblox bug to some released-too-soon fix we did and turned it off again. And sure maybe the bug is not getting the “cache needs update” logic right and clearing the cache fixed that.

Whatever it was, is this still happening for you or can we close this matter out? If it IS still happening, do you have any new hints or reproducibility steps you could add to this?
