Random Remote Event is slow?

Hello! I don’t know if this is something with studio or if there’s a TINY detail that I’m missing but this is a bit of a head scratcher.

In this example, I have two abilities. The ability labeled, “Wind Shot” works just as intended while the one labeled, “Shout” is delayed whenever I activate the ability button for some reason (The VFX also do not appear). These remotes do the same exact thing, the only difference is that they fire different code blocks.

You can skip to the end for the demonstration, but the video is supposed to show that these scripts and their functions are IDENTICAL apart from using different remotes. To be noted as well, every other ability in my game functions just fine as well with no delay.

So what’s going on here? Is there some limitation to remote functions that I don’t understand, or is there a minor syntax error that I may not be seeing? Right now it just seems like a random bug producing no error.
