A while ago, I added one of my family members as a Trusted Connection via QR code because I lost my ability to talk to them while we played games together in Early January.
Yesterday, out of seemingly nowhere, my ability to chat with them was downgraded to the default behaviour when you’re outside of their age group (including not in a neighboring one). The reason I find this behaviour odd is that Roblox still allows me to be Trusted Connections with two other individuals in the exact same age group, but for some reason my family member is excluded. We both live in the same country, while my other two Trusted Connections aren’t in the same country.
I unfortunately cannot provide any reproduction steps as the issue happened by itself, without any input by me. We tried to scan via QR code again, however it doesn’t work at all.
It’s very unclear on how you actually make and sustain Trusted Connections, so an explanation by a staff member would be much appreciated.
Expected behavior
I expect to remain as Trusted Connections because they accepted my friend request via QR code.
