Ranking bot not working

:warning: I don’t have Roblox studio, so if anyone could help me find the issue, that would be nice, thank you!

In my Application Center game, when we pass the quiz, the ranker bot is meant to rank players from Valued Customer → Trainee. I don’t’ know why it’s not working, it worked the first three times, then just stopped. If anyone would like to help for FREE, then please reply or message me on Roblox Dev-Forum.

Idk, like I said in the post, I don’t have studio.

When I used an alt to test (No age requirement needed), it worked the first time for the first three players then completely stopped working. It stopped as soon as the dev quit (for no reason).

If you don’t have studio, first how do you expect us to fix code we don’t know, and second how do you even have a game.

I hired a dev and gave them developer permissions in the community to edit games.

Okay… well you still haven’t provided code anywhere so how do you expect us to fix this..?

I’m reluctant to suggest anything because I have no idea how your game is structured code-wise, so I can only give solutions that’d work in super specific cases for how things are set up.

Here’s some questions:

  1. Are you on a computer or laptop? If so, just install studio. its free.
  2. Is there anything in the output log when you press F9 after it breaks? (Anything in red/yellow)

Again, no one can fix your problem unless if you’re going to supply actual information to specifically what’s broken.

People here also aren’t going to join a group and test a game to maybe see a problem. Just check the logs, write any errors in the post and get the broken code and put it here, too.
Even if someone did, they could still only theorize about whats broken and not be able to give you any specific answer again, because we have NO CODE.

I play on mobile and PS5.

What I was thinking was that someone would be nice enough to help me fix it. (And that would be all for them contributing to my game).

They can’t help you with the ranking bot not working, maybe you should contact the one who scripted the ranking bot and ask them for the script for them to debug.

Eh, the only way is to get studio on a computer (if you have). But if you don’t have a computer then, they can’t help you (its not like we have physic powers)

You guys do have the studio and maybe even the scripting powers.

Sadly we don’t get given the code that is being used unless that is provided in the topic, although “sadly” sounds a bit contradictive because it implies physical stealing. Furthermore, we don’t get given remote access to people’s computers so we can’t install Roblox Studio for them, you will have to do that yourself.

This isn’t a hacking forum where we hack into something and script a fix, this is a forum for those who want help when they provide the information necessary for us to be able to assist them in the first place. Otherwise, we are only guessing the contents of a possible “script” that you are enquiring about, of having the particular issue aligning with the symptoms of what you have already described.

Ask the developer you hired about the code and any errors, and post screenshots here.
It’s very difficult, if not impossible, to fix the error in your script if we don’t know the code.
