INTRODUCING: DUCKIE TECHNOLOGIES

WHAT IS THAT?
Duckie Technologies is a daughter company of DUCKIE. Here you can purchase diffrent services for your roblox roleplay community.

WHAT SERVICES?
We currently offer 1 service, which is automated group ranking with a command in game (!promote or /promote).
This service is set to cost 1.49$ a month which is the cheapest in it’s class.
You get unlimited ranks and even an account for our website where you can see logs, status and more information!

Of course we are always planning on adding more services to Duckie Tech. but we currently don’t have the resources and funding.

Planned for the future is:

We’re actively working on improving this service and we’ll keep you updated in the devforum and in our discord server!

For safety reasons: You can request your data to be deleted after using our service, additionally you can request certain data not to be saved.

Hello there! Thank you for being concerned about our service, but there are some things you should know:

There’s no user data being saved EXCEPT:

  • Your group’s last 100 rank changes
  • Your WEBSITE account which u can only access our website with (we create the username and password for you)
  • Your key which is used for the ranking service
  • Your group ID.

This data is saved on our very own backend and aren’t publicly acessible.

Here’s what is publically visible:

  • All Time Ranked People
  • ammount of total clients
  • ammount of total groups
  • the rank queue which is basically a number showing how many people are currently queued to getting ranked.

These are only stats, not individual user data.

We don’t use cookies, trackers, spyware, or malware in this project.

Because of the concerns raised, I’ve also added a Security & Privacy section to the home page that explains this in more detail for anyone who’s curious.

If you (or anyone else) has specific questions or sees something that looks wrong, I’m happy to explain how it works and fix any real issues.

Open Cloud is great for DataStores, Messaging, etc., but it doesn’t actually rank group members. There’s no Open Cloud endpoint for changing group ranks. You will still need a bot account based solution for that part. Our service handles ranking, which is what some group owners are looking for.

There’s roleplay communities out there still looking for a cheaper alternative and that’s why I’m trying to help with this service.

If this resource isn’t useful to you, that’s completely fine. You don’t have to use it.
I made this for Roblox roleplay communities who want an external ranker + panel without setting up their own backend.
If you have specific suggestions on how I can improve it, I’m happy to hear them.

Unless it was changed, it literally states that as a main feature. (they don’t really explain why it’s crossed out, but I assume they just want you to go to the actual docs)

(From what I’ve read and heard here https://devforum.roblox.com/t/group-ranking-with-roblox-opencloud/3763957e )

It looks like the group ranking with Roblox OpenCloud IS possible but hard to set up. There’s still a lot of people having trouble with this alternative. Also the OpenCloud still seems to be a bit unstable.

I’ve built this alternative (to other services like ranking.services or the new Roblox OpenCloud) to offer a cheap, more easy way to set up these services for roleplay communities.

We of course offer more than just automated ranking,
Duckie Tech gives you:

  • • a web admin/client panel for your group
  • • group keys and permissions
  • • logging of rank changes, stats and queues
  • • in-game commands (!promote / !demote)
  • • a easy step by step guide on how to set it up (or we’ll set it up for you)

If someone is comfortable following that Open Cloud tutorial and writing their own system, they can do that instead. This is mainly for people who just want a easy to set up ranker + panel without handling the backend side themselves or having to set up Roblox’s OpenCloud.

Thank you for taking the time to clarify how the service handles data. The breakdown you provided makes things much clearer, and it’s helpful to know exactly what information is stored privately versus what’s only shown as public statistics.

It’s also reassuring to hear that no tracking tools or unnecessary data collection are being used, and adding the Security & Privacy section was a great idea. Transparency like this builds trust, so I appreciate the effort you put into explaining everything.
