Put the Client Side Name Bug into Roblox Studio in the workspace. You should notice the exact same behavior where you are only able to visibly see the name on the Server Side or on Roblox Studio.
I’m pretty sure when stuff like this happens it’s because the engine cannot reach the character/avatar service which loads your avatar and falls back to a default one. This happens with characters using the default blocky form rendering as a noob sometimes if you have a poor connection.
I appreciate your input but it has nothing to do with this. Roblox platform itself like it did today has issues sometimes that revert it back to the noob. The noob has no trouble displaying names even during issues with Roblox. I took a silly picture today with everyone dressed as noobs lol.
The only thing so far that makes any sense is ironically what Roblox Staff indicated. There is a possibility that the corrupted NPC is somehow tricking the engine into thinking it’s your own player character when really it’s an NPC which is completely separate. Who knows. I am sure this could take awhile for them to figure out so it is best for everyone to wait patiently as they investigate this. Thank you
