I recently built a camera for use in a heist-style game. What can I do to improve the way it looks?

Does that red dot blinks? if so that would be cool! also, can you interact with that camera?

Yes, the red dot is going to blink. Also, I may add a feature where the camera can be disabled. It’s also going to turn left and right!

Could, use some material use in it like metal for the gray part. Shouldn’t just make everything on it smooth-plastic.

The whole thing is made out of metal besides the glass and components inside.

Oh, alright didn’t look like metal in the other pictures. Good work on the camera.

Looks really good! I would suggest changing the material of the red dot to “Neon” in order to make it glow (if that is possible).

I think it looks pretty good! I like the idea of the blinking light & it being the neon (from other commentor’s suggestions) material. I think that maybe maybe the part that the camera twists on could be wider, for more practical stability (if this were real life).

It doesn’t exactly look like metal (as you said it is), and it ends up looking like plastic as castersuge said. Are you using the RBX studio’s metal material? If so- try using a custom one by googling “metal texture” and then using that in the custom materials. I think that it could really up the quality and immersiveness!

Good luck on your heist-style game!

Thanks for all of your feedback! I’ve made some improvements to the camera. Right now it is disabled, so it isn’t moving and the red indicator is off.

Don’t let the camera catch you!
