Just use GPT-5 with thinking on or Claude, it easily clears this and the default Roblox assistant.

I hate to break it to you but unfortunately all AI hallucinates and it’s not a new thing.
Example of it working perfectly fine with some docs it was trained on.
In regards to the erroring, it will be fixed in the new version.
Hallucination depends on the quality of the model you are using; generally, bigger, higher-quality models trained on better data hallucinate more than models trained on lower-quality data. Generally, tokens per second is not something to brag about; if the quality of the generations takes a huge hit, there needs to be a balance between the two.
Based on the speeds and your status page, it looks like you are using gpt-4.1-nano or gpt-5-nano using the OpenAI api tuned on some roblox api documentation. These models excel at small, simpler tasks but generally have much higher hallucination rates.
Tokens per second would not be a brag if >50% of the responses are inaccurate which is just not the case, you cherry picked one single example of it giving a hallucinated response and said “it’s garbage” when in reality you can cherry pick that exact same issue with pretty much any AI model on the market.
Obviously this model is using a significantly smaller data set than large models (which means it will hallucinate) but it is using a larger more focused dataset relative to Roblox content and is offering more accurate responses than the actual Roblox Assistant itself whilst also being 10x faster. If you want to cherry pick responses you can also provide comparisons to the actual Roblox Assistant.
Also you are wrong, I’m not using gpt-4.1-nano or gpt-5-nano. The service is absent from the status page. And you are also wrong about what the data-set contains.
Hey guys, I had shared some feedback on this post earlier about the service, and it got flagged by presumably the creator of the post instead of being addressed. The person who flagged it is actively hiding criticism about the service. Services like this are just charging for free AI APIs, so I recommend either:
- Using the API directly or
- Hiring an artist instead.
Just wanted to share my perspective so other people can make an informed choice.

Or you are using Claude, idk, either way, the underlying model on this sucks.
My main point is that I have tried using it several times with many prompts; every time, it errors or generates a prompt with something inside of it that it hallucinates.
The example I provided was the first time I even used this assistant. Nothing about it is cherry-picked; it was a problem many devs have.
The point of this model is to be generative; it is supposed to be helpful and provide working code that is not already included in Roblox documentation(every example I’ve seen shown is included in that).
Either way, I have had these problems both with this and the regular Roblox assistant; any other model out there, whether it is Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, or Claude, is way better.
The errors you are experiencing are annoying I can agree and they have been fixed in a new version rolling out soon. Don’t forget the assistant is free and it’s a beta tool which was only created because someone provided me with a lot of data regarding Roblox docs, forum posts and articles by Roblox.
I also totally agree that the model could be better and I can work on lowering the chance of hallucination, I do genuinely think it’s way better than the Roblox assistant and more precise than most models which don’t even specifically focus on Roblox data whilst also being 10x faster.
If you don’t like it, that’s fine, just understand that the model has a data set including a lot of forum posts on here (criteria such as only posts being marked as solved), a lot of documentation, and Roblox articles. I plan on expanding it soon which would include it learning and ingesting new data daily to keep it up to date and scaling but for now it’s simply a beta chat assistant.

I swear to god, one thing I really hate about people is that their tendency to make things up if there’s no strong constructive criticism. Not defending this person, but holy crap, please don’t damage this guy’s reputation for something he didn’t do or completely not true.
What was the criticism? Also, show the notification that shows your post got flagged.

I don’t think I can understate how badly this API has brought down the quality of Roblox since its inception. The site is littered with identifiably AI generated VFX, and for lack of a better term, slop.
You now made it possible for lazy money hungry developers to LARP as passionate hobbyists while you collect a cheque.
You 100% won’t understand how much you’ve ruined the website, but it’s there. You charge people money for things they cannot and do not own. So its only use is to aid in recreating and stealing games people have worked on. Words can’t explain how disgusting this is. Every dollar you make from this API puts the site in a deeper hole.

You say that like this user is the only person providing AI image generation as a service, but if you’d actually take time to look around you might come to the realization that there are countless people and companies providing such services.
They haven’t “ruined the website” any more than anyone else and arguably, I’d say they haven’t ruined anything at all because those same developers would have just gone to the NEXT AI offering instead. The only thing “ruining” this website are the developers who are simply appealing to the design of Roblox’s algorithm that pushes the most profitable games to the front page.
If there are others, this one is by far the most popular. If you search for AI generation, this is the only one of its kind that shows up. And frankly it doesn’t matter how much this person is to blame. Because it could be a thousand people that did it at the same time, this person is just as guilty.
Think for a second about what exactly it is that an AI image generation API for a roblox game would return. Do you think its gonna give you a unique art style that expresses the talent and dedication to their craft? Or will it generate imitations of the most popular and relevant depictions of “high quality” VFX that has been done by artists over the years? And how easy is it to mass produce this garbage and funnel it into a microtransaction hellscape that dopamine addicted kids will click on? Furthermore, how much faster can someone looking to exploit the roblox algorithm work when they have something like this at their disposal?
Any thoughts on why the thing this algorithm sees as appealing hasn’t been changing? It’s because the thing that works can be mass produced faster than anyone with original art styles and ideas can work. Get real.
The only fine use for it is to use as reference for actual 3d scene (google or pinterest are both free btw, tons of images to inspire). Using raw ai slop image is terrible and also shows how lazy the person is. This will negatively affect player count, especially if target audience is 13+
