Re-orientate the select box

How do you re-orientate the select box on selected items to align with the objects?

Try the CTRL + L shortcut. Does that work?

ctrl + select another part with a normal orientation

CTRL + L shortcut changes the orientation to local instead of world space.

You can change the PrimaryPart of the model to part within the model that has the orientation you need.

Using CTRL+L only lets you switch between local and world axis when using the rotate or move tool, and will not change the orientation of the object itself.
