I’m following this Bones tutorial on map design and it’s great, except the assets they’re using are very stylized whereas I’m going for a more realistic look in my game.
Problem is I can’t pick a good, versatile asset pack or texture replacements that will work with the variety and scope of my map. My map is huge, with different biomes (woodland, jungle, beach, desert, mountains, underwater zones) that require different assets that don’t vary in style.
When it comes to terrain I have some big inspirations that use highly detailed, realistic maps that encourage the player to explore and settle in. I’m not sure what to do! I can’t find an asset pack that fits my needs!
