Refund on uploaded music?

I recently uploaded 10 songs that I own, but unfortunately did not convert them to a smaller file format (ogg) and so these assets hog up memory in my game. I need to re-upload the entire set of songs and I wont be using the old ones.

These cost me $40 USD to upload and will cost me the same to do that again with the smaller size since cost is length of track and not file size. OUCH!

Is there any way to get a refund on these things? Has anyone done that before?

There’s currently no way to be refunded for the assets unless they were declined by moderation upon upload

.ogg files should only be utilized when you’re looking for seamless loops. mp3 files in the other hand is more compact, but has a short silence before it ends; a padding.

this is not true, while both mp3 and ogg are lossy formats, mp3 is less-lossy and larger in size. Ogg files tend to be on the average of half the size of its compared mp3 version.

That depends on the compression, actually. If you decide to maintain its high quality, it is usually not very compressed at all. The more compression, the less quality it turns out.

I never get refunded when an audio is declined

If audio is rejected in the approval process after being uploaded, you will always receive a refund—However, if it becomes content deleted after having been previously approved, then no refund will be issued

My audio was taken down for being distorted, wasn’t even close to that, and I didn’t get refunded
