Hi, I’d like to know people’s thoughts on how players should regain health in my game. I have my own thoughts, but there could be something I haven’t considered. Or, an idea I’m having that isn’t as great as I’m thinking.
Here’s a list in order of my liking:
- Ramming into a smaller animal/critter, like in the Spyro Trilogy
- When touching a checkpoint, like in Super Mario Odyssey
- A ‘heart’ collectible, like in Super Mario Odyssey
- A ‘food’ collectible item, like in Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
- Collecting a coin, like in Super Mario Sunshine
