Region3 Not Working For Negative Z Position

yes me again, im not sure if it is me but region3 does not work on a negative z axis, i have tried restarting studio and reinstalling it but nothing worked. i watched Alvin’s video on sound regions (newer one) and got the script but changed it up a little, here it is

local found = false
while wait() do
	for _,box in pairs(game.Workspace.EPositions:GetChildren()) do
		found = false
		if box.ClassName ~= "BillboardGui" then
			local region = Region3.new(box.Area.Position - (box.Area.Size/2), box.Area.Position + (box.Area.Position/2))
			local parts = game.Workspace:FindPartsInRegion3WithWhiteList(region, game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character:GetDescendants())
			for _,part in pairs(parts) do
				if part.Name == "HumanoidRootPart" then
					found = true
					break
				else
					found = false
				end
			end
			if found == true then
				if game.Workspace.EPositions:FindFirstChild("EButton") then
					print("added gui")
					game.Workspace.EPositions.EButton.TextLabel.TextLabel.Text = box.Name
					game.Workspace.EPositions.EButton.Enabled = true
					game.Workspace.EPositions.EButton.Parent = box
				end
			else
				if box:FindFirstChild("EButton") then
					print("took away gui")
					box.EButton.Enabled = false
					box.EButton.Parent = game.Workspace.EPositions
				end
			end
		end
	end
end

this is workspace:
Workspace
–EPositions
––[Name here] (the position where the billboard gui is going to be placed)
–––CollisionBox
i did have magnitude for a while but it shows through the walls which isn’t good
