Hello! It’s Cat here, bringing you this week’s release notes for 688 hot off the press. Very exciting stuff.

Do you have a go-to coffee shop order? My usual is an iced americano with extra ice and a bit of milk. Sometimes I get one of those strawberry matcha lattes if I’m feeling extra fancy.

Decal uvs support scale and offset? Does that mean I can customize the area of a decal? I wonder if it could fix my issue(solved)

Ready when it’s ready.

New rendering capabilities don’t have the most predictable timelines for release because often what they get hung up on is hard to predict graphics driver / hardware interactions among other things.

Because of the track record of sometimes taking many revisions to enable you won’t see engineers offering concrete timelines on upcoming rendering features like you’ll sometimes see them offer with Studio features.

“New rendering capabilities” correct me if I’m wrong but its just ctrl c + ctrl v the surface appearance code except removing the UV mapping?

this update straight up hides the core gui, including the hamburger menu and the chat toggle button. Awful change that should be reverted.

If it hid the topbar on pc and console, that would actually be an amazing change. The topbar just takes up space on non-touchscreen devices, makes it harder to make consistent ui.
