Unfortunately we don’t have a great way to do this right now.

The ideal long term answer is that we will have a Luau package manager so that something like the DraggerFramework can be exposed as a Luau library but still be convenient to consume and get updates for in your code without it needing to be a core engine API.

what is this even and what happened with the text at the end

A lot of the times, when studio updates, the shortcut of studio you have pinned to the taskbar goes invalid and you have to unpin it and pin the new version of studio, but with this it doesn’t.

I’ve noticed in some kind of beta, there are new Decal options;


I am very curious on when this will be released, for I heard of it a few months back, but there has been little to no word.

But seriously, you just unlocked the most revolutionary Decal update in the engine’s history. The UV options are like ImageRectOffset and ImageRectSize in image labels. I’m extremely hyped for this. It’s been months at this point.

Unfortunately, the Metal, Normal and Roughness maps do not seem to function just yet, as they make the decal disappear.

However, UVOffset and UVScale ARE used, and I am actually using UVScale to scale a gradient; it’d be cool for it to actually exist rather soon.

Okay, the maps DO work, but they only show up for half a second before disappearing.

Hi Team, I’m wondering if this will also resolve the issue with transparent items having washed out thumbnails as well or if for the moment it’s only particles getting the fix
