Released a new game, need a bunch of decent feedback!

Hi everyone!

After months of development and testing, we have officially launched Cosmic Cleaners.

Cosmic Cleaners is a sci-fi tycoon where players travel into space, collect scrap, process it through crushers and furnaces, create ingots, earn credits, unlock new zones, upgrade their equipment and rebirth to progress even further.

The game also includes offline earnings, daily rewards, crates, leaderboards, live events and a limited launch reward.

During testing, several players spent between 2 and 6 hours playing, with some continuing to grind even after the testing session had officially ended. Now that the game is publicly available, I would really appreciate honest feedback from other Roblox developers.

I would especially like feedback on:

• Whether the main gameplay loop is clear and enjoyable

• Whether the tutorial and early progression feel too long

• The game icon and thumbnails

• The UI and overall presentation

• Mobile, PC and console performance

• What we should improve or add in our first update

• How you would approach marketing the game after launch

We have already prepared short gameplay clips and screenshots, but we are still learning how to properly market a Roblox game using the current advertising system.

Please feel free to be completely honest. Constructive criticism would genuinely help us improve the game during its first updates.

Thank you for taking the time to check it out!

The game makes a great first impression! But I’m sure you’re interested in the issues that stood out to me:

  1. Long loading time (though with a world this complex, there might not be much to fix).
  2. At first, the arrow seems to jitter into the floor—maybe add a marker so it’s completely clear where it’s leading?
  3. I played for a couple of minutes, but the tutorial felt a bit lacking. There is text guidance, but it would be cool not to rely on just an arrow, at least in the beginning.
  4. I fell into space and started collecting some pieces, but I couldn’t figure out how to get back to base, and the controls didn’t feel intuitive to me.
Overall, though, the game looks really nice! By the way, would you consider checking out my game as well? Here’s a link to the post:

Hey there! Thank you so much for the feedback, this really means a lot to me and the team. As for the flying part using the jetpack on mobile, all you need to do is double tap to be able to fly and we are also looking into making it easier. We’ve already managed to do a lot of hot fixes in the last 24 hours and we plan to do more as it has only been roughly 2 days since release or less if my timing is correct

Hello! Thanks for the feedback, once again, this truly helps me and the team get an idea of what other people can see that we can’t.

  1. Sadly we’ve tried everything, and this is the best we can do including an option to skip the loading process.
  2. We’ll have a look at what we can do for this and we’ll be sure to make a fix for it, thanks a lot!
  3. The tutorial had a couple adjustments recently but it seems we’ll need to add more touches to it, rest assured we’ll sort this one out as well.
  4. I’ll also have a look at what we can do to make controls more easier for you and anyone else who is new to the game, much thanks again!

I’ll also have a look at your game and give my honest feedback!

Im sorry i did try as well do you double tap on the jetpack or anywhere because i was trying both, i would have a Gui button for the jetpack

I believe that is a decent option as well, we’ll look into it! Also the art was made by one of the developers but sadly she had to step away, but she sure has the talent for it!

I like testing & supporting co-Devs games .. but punishing my Spacebar was pretty annoying.
This is not to burst your bubble.. but feedback from a tester. Last about 3-5mins.
I think there will be many that might feel the same.

I think it looks awesome.. but that put me off.. and might need another option.
You want to keep players .. and don’t think that helps.

Thar’s just me… so what do others think about it ?

Other than that - really looks awesome.
Will look back on it at a later date.

This game is super cool; I like it a lot. A few things, though: the tutorial arrow coming out of my head was kind of annoying. I think it could come out of my torso and be much smaller. When it told me to feed the items into my crusher, the arrow took me through my portal, which sent me to the portal room and caused some confusion. As a noob, I also found the crusher GUI a little confusing, so it may need clearer wording or a different layout.

Btw, a temporary jetpack boost which depletes would add to the fun.
All that being said, I’m now a member of the cleanup crew.

Thank you so much for this feedback - it does truly mean a lot to me. I had to halt the game development for the last few days due to needing a new development team, the one I currently hired is truly one of a kind and we are actively working on ensuring these concerns are properly handled. I’ll be sure to find a way to inegrate a Ui design for all devices to allow people to just press the button to fly easily.

I’ll be sure to also add more updates in the next 2 weeks as we are planning to rig newer and better models, including aliens and include a PVP concept to the game. Feel free to stay in the loop with us in the server and game from to time, I would appreciate more feedback when the time comes.
