Remade my melee combat system again

I remade my melee combat again, its way more modular now and i added 2 weapons, katana and sledge hammer, i’d appreciate any feedback on it

rate how difficult the combat was

I found the combat quite easy, maybe make a smaller stun time for the enemies, and maybe an ability for them to stun you, if thats not already added.

Also if you have your katana out, during the talking sequence, it damages the generator, or whatever that thing in the middle was? And the game kicked me. So yeah.

I quite like the style of dialog, looks really good.

Also its kind of hard finding who to talk to, as I thought I had to go outside somewhere to find the next person to talk to. Maybe highlight were to go, or at least flash something, or maybe a waypoint.

I also really liked the realism and the UI style, that looks amazing, but the quests text doesn’t have that same move as the other UI did, and I feel it extrudes to much to the middle.

But in general, I really like the style of the game, it looks very cool, I would play this in my spare time.

I often get mixed thoughts on the combat, some people said its unplayable so i had to make the stun times longer, right now they’re around 3 seconds so ill reduce them probably to 2 or 1.5 seconds, i notice that the ability for them to stun me only works on studio which i find strange but i will try to fix that,.

i will disable inventory during the talking sequence, thanks for telling me.

Was it only difficult finding the guide inside the container or the rest of the npcs too? i will try adding waypoint over his head.

It might not be the player, but the NPCs, if people get mixed opinions.

I didn’t really play further until it kicked me, forgive me please, but I had some trouble finding the guide though.

Sorry that I didn’t explain enough, I mean like the Quests heading with the line was going to far into the middle, and the text doesn’t really match up.

But this looks better than what you have now imo.

the kick was a quick and lazy solution, forgot to to connect it to the reset script, i think i will make a little dialogue instead of just telling what happened only in a kick message.

i will add a marker or something above the guides head to make it easier, its true that hes kinda hidden.

i see, it was a quick solution since alot of players didnt notice the quests at all, i will make it match the position and tilt of the actual quests, thanks for explaining.
