so i just finished working on my game and its ready for alpha release, but the only problem is i recently found out that most combat games use local scripts to handle visual effects and not on the server, also i use touched connection instead of raycasts for my game. Should I remake my whole game? (there is no lag in the game based on what ive seen)

Honestly, if you’re game is decent enough to be good, then you don’t need to really remake it, but personally, re-editting the game to have those are quite good.

Particles are rendered on the client, so I think it’s fine. The touched event is reliable enough on the client, but if done on the server, people with higher pings will be mad.
