Render Inverted Faces on Roblox Head accessory in Blender

  1. What do you want to achieve?
I’m trying to render my roblox character which has an accessory (the head) using inverted faces (You can see the inside of the accessory from the outside, if that makes sense)

  1. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
The faces of the mesh are on the “correct” side so the red outline doesn’t appear rather its plain red. Apologies if the lighting on the 2nd image is awful, I’m new to this and finding my way through this.

  2. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Creator Hub?
I remember getting around the issue using command line rendering but I must’ve forgotten the exact steps since that doesnt seem to work either :sob: . I’ve also enabled backwards culling which makes the avatar look accurate but it doesn’t carry through to the render.

If anyone has experience with rendering roblox models like this, help would be appreciated :folded_hands:

Perhaps you accidentally turned on the double side faces in roblox?

If I’ve found the feature you’re referring to the no I haven’t. I do see that enabling it makes it look like how it is in Blender.

Figured it out, the tutorial I was following was used Cycles as the render engine. Meanwhile using EEVEE fixes my problem
