Replication issue with Shirts/Pants textures

If a Shirt/Pants instance has already been textured and the game tries to change it, it does not properly replicate across the server/client boundary.

If the server changes the template, the server and anyone who joins after the change can see it fine, but the older clients cannot. This also applies to the client vice versa.

For example (screenshots taken in order):

On the server, I have a real player on the right, and another figure on the left

If I change the figure’s outfit textures to this instead, the server sees it fine.

However, the client still sees it as the old outfit:

The only work-around to this currently is to destroy the current outfit and make a new one with the different textures. That replicates correctly.

I’ve had this issue for as long as I can remember. I know I saw it in The Stalker prior to having it here, and I may have seen it in other games.

Will this ever get fixed?

Does the client see the property being changed, i.e. is this just a visual thing? Or is the property not even replicating?
