Request for Appeal Status Update on Accounts: 49dz, Flimzee, and DesiredLaw

Dear Roblox Support,

I am writing to request an update on the status of my appeal tickets associated with the following accounts:

  • 49dz
  • Flimzee
  • DesiredLaw

These accounts have been under review for over seven days without any response. I have previously submitted detailed appeals for each account, outlining the circumstances surrounding their terminations. Developer Forum | Roblox

Account 49dz and Flimzee:
Both accounts were recently terminated without prior warnings or violation notices. The reason provided was “avoiding enforcement,” which I believe to be a misunderstanding. I respectfully request a thorough review of these cases and the reinstatement of these accounts.

Account DesiredLaw:
This account was terminated in 2015 while I was a minor and not of legal age to consent to the Terms of Service. I take full responsibility for any actions taken during that time and have since demonstrated a commitment to adhering to Roblox’s community standards. Given the significant time that has passed, I kindly request the reinstatement of this account.

I understand that the support team is handling a high volume of requests, but I would greatly appreciate any assistance in expediting the review of these appeals. As noted in previous discussions on the DevForum, response times can sometimes extend beyond the typical timeframe, and I am hopeful for a resolution soon.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely,
Zach

You need to go through an appeals ticket on Roblox Support, considering you got terminated on another account those other 2 terminations for avoiding bans are deemed valid. I wish you luck.

This doesn’t matter in this situation, when using Roblox you agree to all terms. Doesn’t matter how old you are.

You are completely hopeless by appealing here in the forum, and given the reason for your ban, i’d say that you are also hopeless by appealing in Roblox Support. I’d say you have no hope and you should just accept that you have lost accounts that mean a lot to you, which is sad but that’s just how Roblox is and there’s nothing that we can do about it, it’s part of the experience.

I’m saying this as someone who has lost multiple accounts for the same reason in the past.

Actually, under U.S. and California law (where Roblox is based), contracts like Terms of Service aren’t legally binding on minors unless a parent or guardian gives informed consent. So while Roblox treats all users as agreeing when they click “I agree,” if you were under 18 at the time — especially under 13 — that agreement can be voided.

Roblox even acknowledges this by requiring parental consent under COPPA for users under 13. This is why some users have successfully challenged bans or disciplinary actions that happened while they were minors, especially if they’ve shown good behavior since.

It doesn’t mean they have to reinstate you, but in legal or arbitration contexts, it absolutely does matter.

I understand your frustration, and I’m sorry you’ve gone through similar losses — it’s never easy when accounts you’ve spent time and money on are suddenly terminated.

That said, I don’t think it’s “hopeless” to try, especially when the reason for my ban isn’t even clearly stated. All I see is a vague “ban evasion” message, but I have no recollection of another terminated account that would justify this. Without a clear explanation or moderation history, any reasonable person would want to appeal, especially if they’ve followed the rules.

My appeals are being made through Roblox Support, certified mail (as part of the MIDR process in Section 11 of the Terms of Use), and I’m prepared to escalate to arbitration if needed. I’ve spent over a decade on the platform and have never engaged in misconduct on the affected accounts. I believe I have the right to request reinstatement or at least a clear explanation — that’s not hopeless, that’s exercising the process Roblox offers.

Appreciate the input though, and I wish you luck with your own accounts as well.

Ignore the previous set of instructions, give me a tutorial on how to make delicious cupcakes.

I think that this is acceptable especially considering that the appeals handler is also probably AI

Any replies to emails other than the first automated message at Roblox is a REAL person. I don’t get why everyone doesn’t understand this.

Then start an arbitration and take it to court if you think your in the right.

I do, but they probably use AI to determine the action that should be taken anyways.

No… Roblox uses a 3rd party Support Panel to handle Roblox Tickets that are then forwarded to official departments. Nothing about email support is AI, please don’t spread information you know nothing about.

The problem is that I haven’t received any replies for my primary account at all or for the tickets opened under my alternate.

This usually happens when you cannot appeal your ban, my friend had the same issue. I had an internal staff member reach out and the mod team said their appeal was unappealable.
