The Havemeat account is used by three different people that all have their own personal accounts. Continuing to use the Havemeat account creates unnecessary confusion about who you’re talking to.
I’ve already asked them multiple times to use their own accounts and they’ve refused (who refused, I don’t know, because it’s a shared account). No one else has multiple accounts and no one else has shared accounts. Havemeat should not be an exception. What happens to Havemeat if one person gets banned? And what happens when Havemeat breaks a rule and you don’t know who it was? I see no reason why shared accounts should be allowed, especially when everyone involved has their own account that they should be using anyway.
According to Havemeat, Dennis is the primary user of the account. Even so, why should Dennis have two accounts? Once again, it just creates unnecessary confusion.
What do you think?
EDIT: Clarification: This is about the RBXDev Havemeat account, not the Roblox Havemeat account.
EDIT 2: Apparently Dade and Greg don’t have RBXDev accounts. If they’re members then they should have accounts. If they’re not then they should not have accounts. There shouldn’t be this weird limbo of being a part of a shared account.
Would it help you if I posted a signature every time I posted? Dade and Greg still go on this account quite often.
I do however, see no reason for the account to be deactivated. That would be unnecessary and a little bit harsh.
Also, I cleared this whole arrangement with Becky, and you can talk to her if you have any further problems.
I would also like to clarify that all of us were cleared for RBXDev, so all of us are official RBXDev users. I apologize once again for the confusion, but I would like this topic to be closed.
Regards,
-Dennis
Dade and Greg prefer to use this account, with the occasion of me coming on to use it. They haven’t actually requested personal accounts as far as I know. Unless a mod/admin requests that we disband into 3 seperate accounts, I don’t see how this is a problem. Considering I’m going to start putting siggies, and I shall ask Dade and Greg to do the same.

I think this shouldn’t be a personal issue against any of the havemeat members.
It should be established that every member of a development team gets there own account to use, NOT SHARE. For the simplicity of the future or Roblox development teams.
Examples: Gusmanak and Zolarketh have their own accounts,
loleris and everyone who works with him have their own accounts here,

Take it up with reesemcblox. Or email some parts of the admin council.
I don’t see why this topic should continue to exist, so I’m just going to request a lock here.
If any admin/mod is viewing this, let me know if I have to start doing something different.
Thanks.

I just feel like people will begin sharing accounts more often, especially with people who don’t deserve to be in RBXDev. Just saying. Not directing anything at your account because you guys know what your doing, but I don’t want to see RBXDev going into chaos with people clueless of developing.

The way I see it, the problem is that moderation here just isn’t strict enough at all. For what’s supposed to be a ‘professional environment’ I feel like I can get away with anything under murder.
Only recently has Sorcus stepped up to the plate with a serial-killery vibe. I’d really wish the mods would crack down on stuff in general. I can go around causing all the arguments I want.

I’m not too bothered by it, so I won’t take it to any admins. This shouldn’t be a discussion about the havemeat account being deleted or not, it should be a discussion about shared accounts on RbxDev though. Because that’s the non personal issue here.
Also should add: I don’t think anyone who votes yes on this poll takes it personally, it is just about the concept of sharing accounts here.

This was just an exception set up for through meeting Becky at the maker faires. In general, I’d disagree with sharing accounts (remember diesoft) especially with users who aren’t in this forum.

EDIT: I discovered that OP blocked me from a social media outlet, so I believe this is personal.
I think the general consensus is that there should be no exceptions though.
I don’t know what sort of deal you and Becky made, but I’m sure it would be fairly simple to give you all each your own accounts.

Or maybe you could look at what he said and judge that and not immediately (rather lazily) assume it’s “personal”, he (Ethan) has legitimate reason to claim this, it’s controversial to share an account. You can say you trust each other not to falsely signature your posts/generally damage the account, but your absolute best bet if you guys just got separate accounts. If an admin (reese) allowed people to go on RBXDEV through a shared account then there should be no problem with you guys having separate accounts.
