Retro Competitive: The Bulletin Board Page
Pages: FAQ, Leaks, Sneak Peeks, and What’s next!

Hello! Welcome to our official bulletin board page!
Here, You are able to find frequently asked questions, sneak peeks, and more to come! This game has recently put into development and I want to share some stuff with you guys while the game is being developed so on

This game is only being developed by one person at a time, I cannot release updates every so often when the game comes out, When I feel comfortable enough getting people to help work on the game further on; The game will be more stable in a bulletin board regarding our patches as such

FAQ Page

Will consoles be playable for this game?

Unfortunately, console players will not be able to test the game; We are able to guarantee console support later on in the near future for our stable releases

When the game comes out for consoles, What console am I able to play on?

Retro Competitive will be able to be played on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Due to Roblox not being compatible with Nintendo Switch; Retro Competitive will not be able to be played on those platforms

Because of hardware limitations; PS4 and Xbox One will be locked down to (probably) 10 or 30 FPS based on Roblox’s framerate for the game, PS5 and Series X|S should be playable otherwise

When will the game come out?

I’ll post an exact release date when I get it finished

When will early access volunteering open?

I currently have no plans on opening EA Volunteering, I’ll see what I can do when I shortly feel like letting playtesters give this game a go

Do I have to pay robux to play Early access?

Nope! It will be completely free, Though in Question 1 it will not be accessible on Xbox and PlayStation at this time, And docked controller support will be limited otherwise

Is there going to be an official server?

Absolutely not, Owning an official community server will highly make it a risk for bad people to step approach in to our space, We, want this community to be a welcoming space for other people; And no, There will not be a dedicated devforum related to talking about the game because it is against the terms of service on the Roblox DevForum

A guilded server will be however hosted, Tho you will not be able to communicate with other users as it will only be reserved to announcements when we make a group reserved to Retro Competitive

How long do you think development could take?

Time.

Is Retro Competitive going to be on Mobile and Tablets?

The game will not be compatible for mobile, It would take almost months to properly port the game to mobile, The UI takes allot of conflicting to get it working right on Mobile and Tablet, So simply; No, The game will not be coming to Mobile devices

Whats an official way to play Retro Competitive?

Roblox is the only way to officially play Retro Competitive, Android emulators are allowed; but will be banned if using it for an unfair advantage

Will Retro Competitive run on weaker PC's? Is the game too demanding?

Not exactly, And neither is the game too demanding, You’ll probably need a mediocre PC that can run Roblox at max graphics, If your PC doesn’t meet Roblox’s system requirements or its too weak to run on Max graphics, I can safely say that you cannot play Retro Competitive and Roblox both at the same time, And for people who have Pcs that cannot run Roblox at max graphics; Turn down your graphics quality down to 1 - 3

Can you play with Switch controllers docked to your PC?

Roblox doesn’t natively support Switch controllers, But yes, The game should work with nintendo switch controllers, As long as you are using a proper software to remap the inputs then you should be good to go (Use BetterJoy if you want to use Roblox with Nintendo Switch controls)

What are the gun models from?

They are from Pixel Gun 3D, This will be changed in the foreseeable future

What’s next? Is there any sneak peaks?

Not quite at the moment, Sneak peaks will be down in a bunch of replies on this post whenever I can give them out to the public here. As of now, The game is still in development hell which can struggle with when I can show any leaks of the game

A roadmap is yet to be confirmed anyways whenever I can give an exact release date on RC

Just a sidenote; This post is SUBJECT TO CHANGE! SUBJECT, TO, CHANGE. This means that this post will be updated when I release leaks or sneak peaks, OR if there is the need to update the FAQ and other stuff

Unfortunately, Due to mental health issues and such. Development for the game will be halted until I feel better, I need some time off of Roblox development.
