Revert movement changes

A while back, Roblox rolled out what I believe they called the comfort camera. Whenever you move your character in VR, your camera doesn’t move with it. Instead, your camera teleports to your camera when you stop moving. Personally, I HATE this. You can’t drive vehicles, you can’t round a corner without stopping to see where you are going, etc. I think that the original camera should be restored, or at least an option added to allow people to change back to the original behavior.

Also, there is no way to chat to people anymore. It seems that you can sometimes see chat, but never actually chat yourself.

Don’t know if it’s a good idea to revert. Should be an option to toggle back and forth of the behavior instead, if you’re insisting about reverting it.

The reason Roblox probably did this was motion sickness. I typically don’t get motion sick with VR, but I felt motion sick after trying Minecraft in VR, probably since your eyes see you moving but your body isn’t. An option that can be considered is if the player is in a seat, the camera is locked to the character.

I’ve played many games - Onward, Pavlov, and Climbey - where you’re not moving your body (or you’re only moving your arms) but you’re freely moving in-game. I think once you get used to it, there’s no chance for motion sickness.

I’d be perfectly happy with a toggle setting to switch between the two camera modes - as long as it means I’m able to use the original camera.
