:rainbow: RichOutput

A (currently WIP (again!)) plugin that tries its best to replicate Roblox Studio’s output widget while providing support for rich text styling

I thought it would be cool to better organize my logs, so I started making this plugin to make output look a little cooler! This plugin is suitable for those wanting to stylize their prints, and/or wanna mess around with output.

btw as of now i didn’t implement any of the filtering options cuz i’m a lazy bum but i’ll get to that eventually

I mean immediate feedback based on the screenshots; it doesn’t use the same font.

fixed just now, sorry bout that!!

the original output uses Fira Code i think and i couldn’t find a way to use that font in richoutput so Roboto Mono was the next best option, sorry

  • honestly right now this plugin is NOT optimized for that rn but in the future i’d love to fix such issues

can we force outputs to go through richoutput? and if that fails will it autosafe do roblox?

not currently

i really do in the future wanna make an output “channel” for richoutput, or maybe let the user make as many as they want for specific purposes. versions of these logs without rich text formatting could be mirrored to roblox’s vanilla output too for those who don’t want to use richoutput in team create scenarios
can’t say when i’ll actually implement this but i hope to do so at some point
