Rig torso doesn't rotate properly

I’m trying to animate my custom rig, but for some reason, the torso doesn’t rotate at all besides the weird animation grid thingamajig.

Make sure your HumanoidRootPart (which should be the model’s PrimaryPart) is anchored

I tried that out and, uh, now this happens.

Oh dang wait. The tool the character’s holding is anchored. Bruh.
