Right eye of head won't validate no matter what i do

I’m trying to make a dynamic head again, but its been doing this thing where it keeps detecting the right eye as not valid. I’m genuinely confused about this because the left eye animates the same amount as the right, the cages i made sure line up with the eyes, and even made the eye parts of the cage be symmetrical.

The one issue though that I’m stumbling across too is whenever i make small changes to even the right eye (when i say small i mean < 0.05 of a difference for a singular vertice, it will change the expression score from 45-50 to just 3.

I’ve tried solidifying the eyes, I’ve tried to do different types of topology of the eyes, I’ve even lowered the position of the eyes and modified the animations to be more drastic. absolutely nothing works. The head cage’s UV’s are unmodified and I even tried reimporting a fresh cage and reshaping it back to what it previously was. Ive made the eye cage slightly over the eyes, and even behind it and the results remain the same.

What makes me think its a bug and not just an issue on my end is the difference changing the outcage’s orgin .001 affects the validation
For example last night it was only set to 3, and i changed the outer cage’s orgin by a measly .001… it shot up the face expression score to 45. Something is clearly wrong here, I have tried applying the orgin to 0,0,0 too, it would just go back to only 3 validation score and both eyes, and the mouth wouldn’t validate

Forgot to add in the FAC animations on here just to show what it looks like

Hey Blizzei,

Thanks for the report - we’ll take a look at it shortly.

I’m having a similar issue since yesterday and it’s making me go insane.

For some reason both eyes enjoy failing validation for me, but if the left eye is animated slightly differently from the right, the left eye validates, but if I make the right eye animate the same way BOTH always fail validation
(also interestingly, the eyes stop validating the exact moment I get the mouth caging right)

I tried everything by this point, editing the cage, redoing the cage from scratch, modifying poses, trying auto-setup but nothing works. I’m hoping this gets fixed soon

Hey, I guess what happens here is that when you change the eyes, the cage can no longer project to the eye area, which causes the drop of the score. However I am not 100% sure about why changing the cage origin would affect the score significantly.

Can you share me both the original rbxm file and the one that you changed the cage original?
