Roastin’ - Senior Team Member Promotion Guide

Introduction

This guide will explain what to do and not to do as a Senior Barista so that you can achieve a Staff Intern position within Roastin’. Please keep in mind that this guide only offers some suggestions regarding some of the things to do and doesn’t encompass everything that you should or shouldn’t be doing as a Senior Team Member. Please also note that the maximum rank limit of Staff Intern at the time of writing is 30 individuals.

Staff Intern Process Stages

Application Stage:

To be properly considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant must be a Senior Team Member for five days or more.
  • Applicant must have a good history with Roastin’. Anyone who is restricted, blacklisted, or has a bad history with drama in the past will be automatically denied.
  • Applicant must be active and hard-working, demonstrating readable and understandable grammar as well as exceptional activity at V1.
  • Applicant must be willing and able to partake in a voice interview if their application passes.
  • Applicant must only apply once a week if they fail. If they do it too often, they may be restricted from the staff team.
  • Applicant must DM the Vice President of Recruitment, Chief Recruitment Officer, or an Executive Assistant of Recruitment after they’ve applied to confirm their identity. Anyone who fails to do so within a 24 hour period will not be considered.

Their application will then be reviewed by the Recruitment department. Those who fail will be notified within a week of sending their application. Any applicants who ask the status of their results before this period ends will be automatically denied.

Voice Interview Stage:

If the application is approved, an overseer of the Recruitment department will then DM the applicant directly to schedule a time for a voice interview. Please note that any applicants unable to conduct a voice interview will not be able to proceed to the next stage.

It will be the applicants duty to schedule a voice interview within a week of notification. If they are unable to do so, they will be denied and will have to apply once more.

If the applicant passes the voice interview stage, they will move on to the observation stage.

Observation Stage:

The observation stage consists of many members of the Recruitment department watching and observing the applicant for a week after they pass the voice interview stage. They will be observing their work-ethic at V1, ensuring that they’re a capable employee.

If the applicant encounters any issues or is unable to be active during this stage, they will be denied and will have to apply once more.

Promotion Stage:

If the applicant passes all stages, they will shortly be promoted to Staff Intern afterwards, where they will experience a one-week trial period. They will then take an exam towards the end of the trial period, which will determine whether or not they will be demoted down to Senior Team Member or promoted to Supervisor.

How to Apply
