Maybe my situation is a bit different but my game has been falsely deleted for “Misusing Roblox Systems” and Roblox still denies proofs or a human review

Ok now that’s interesting, one of old accounts that my friend used to own since 2010 was banned 27th July this year. Knowing this, this is possibly their banwave date at best because that is such a coincidence to make.
It could be that it’s been only starting at 21 to 27th every month as friends of mine been getting terminated left and right for “Evading enforcement action” or “Sexual Content”.
There is something fishy about it, something termination method and the dates.

thats because it also thinks the accounts on the same WI-FI network (AKA IP Address) are ur alt, but it could also be ur brothers or sister, not ur alt acc, they should make it so you dont get banned if its on the same WI-FI network

Roblox moderation is genuinely terrifying to me - and I say that as someone who has been developing on roblox for over 5+ years and used Roblox as a platform for over 15 years.
Usually, my interactions with Roblox’s staff are actually great - Specifically, every staff member on the Dev Forums, like the developer relations team, are some of the friendliest and most helpful people. They often respond to bug reports I make (Though not always) and usually resolve things in a very pleasant & transparent way.
But moderation… For some reason the teams and standards of moderation are quite different, seemingly, from the staff members on the dev forums. Transparency is not in the nature of moderation, and maintaining relations with users seems to be a much lower priority than the Dev Relations team here has.
Once, I was told by @Hooksmith in a message, that those here on the dev forum were solving “Relatively simple problems here” compared to the Safety teams.
Which one might agree with, at first glance.
..But when it seems like the Safety team dictates how fast it handles safety issues on a metric of “How fast does the AI mark the ticket as resolved”, without accounting for the much bigger question of “How often does the automation fail to actually resolve a case appropriately”, combined with the lack of transparency from the moderation team, and lack of interaction with the community… It can be very, very hard to see that perspective.
It is important to note that as a developer with over 15 years on Roblox, I have seen a significant amount of moderation actions take place. From my perspective, even before more advanced automation was added, in my mind the chance of any moderation issue being resolved correctly was a 50/50, at best. And the lack of transparency/confirmation adds on to that feeling.
I would bet somewhere out there there is a data analytics team that is bragging to shareholders that Roblox’s state of the art moderation tools resolve tickets in mere minutes -
To that analytics team, I would like to remind them;
A system that has a 90% failure rate, but resolves tickets instantly, does not have an turnover time of mere minutes. Unless you go back, review prior moderation actions, and account for the time lost on cases that were incorrectly thrown out/unresolved, you will never know the true amount of time roblox moderation takes to resolve any issue.
And I promise you, if you do not have that data already, there’s a good chance you will not like the results when you properly account for the millions of moderation issues and tickets that are resolved incorrectly.
Roblox needs to remember that the reason there is mounting distrust of their moderation and safety team ability, and the reason it has always been low relatively speaking, is solely a transparency issue. Not everything can be a ‘black box’ of sorts - And if the contents of that secret box aren’t working, keeping it secret does not help anybody.
I respect this platform. I wish this platform’s safety standards respected it’s audience with even a tenth of that respect.

Both @pumpkyrofl and @xxAkhilx who have been going through this have their 30 day appeal window shut tomorrow, we need some kind of acknowledgement as soon as possible!

we need to bring this to the big youtubers & people that roblox actually pays attention to, i can guarantee nobodys going to look at this & we wont get acknowledgement until somebody big talks about it

With the new event happening today, wouldn’t it be a good idea to try talking to an admin who can be found in the game? I feel like that’s the fastest way.

Let me get this straight.
Similarly to the whole AI Avatar Moderation fiasco that got John Doe termed, people can report default starter places or old games with beds in them and get the owner terminated as a result? Why?

A very similar situation is still unresolved and somehow persists. After deleting certain assets from Roblox’s OWN template, your game gets immediately removed for sexual content, and your account receives an action. When you try to appeal, the appeal is straight-up rejected. That’s the template Roblox itself created:

Now, random starter places are again being banned by their AI, and the appeals team rejects appeals citing sexual content. Even being flagged in the first place should never happen and needs to be fixed, yet Roblox Support, without any actual investigation, rejects appeals ignorantly. This is embarrassing for a multi billion-dollar company.
Please unban everyone mentioned in this thread; their accounts should be reinstated following a proper review. Please also resolve this issue once and for all. I promise they do not contain any sexual content. (We also expect transparency about exactly what they saw that led to the moderation action)

That’s weird, it shouldn’t ban anyone since they want higher numbers for investors, same reason exploiters are still on the platform.

It just isn’t this thread, I made a whole compilation on reddit that is already extremely outdated with all the new reports that contained everyone affected. They need to check so many terminations and realise their mistake.

As a Roblox developer, I fear everything I do on Roblox (if it is on studio , in game or just what even belongs to Roblox) that it could get me banned since the ai can now fall for almost everything and believe it violates Roblox’s rules
And the Roblox moderation appeal answers are a joke, right? (Spoiler: no)
If Roblox wants to really improve itself it has to fix the moderation system immediatly

I’m sure people have heard, “Roblox moderation is a joke” time and time again but they’re not lying. This among several other things is just so scary and annoying to deal with. Their email support team are just like YouTube’s, blatantly unhelpful. Instead of giving a blanket response why don’t they just look at the game for God’s sake…

It would literally take 5 seconds to check the update logs to prove our starter places were never updated and unban us all as a result, please roblox!

This is why I don’t trust AI moderation, is stuff like these makes me cautious about Roblox moderation, heck, they sometimes ban games that have literal starter places because there was a literal bed model!
