Summary
I believe there may be an issue with how account moderation dates and enforcement dates are displayed or processed
Observed behavior
My Roblox account, iii_Creta was accessible and usable normally after a moderation record dated july 12, 2024, I continued playing on the account for approximately another year
In august 2025, i suddenly lost access to the account due to an associated-account moderation. The moderation screen displayed a review date in august 2025, and stated that the account was linked to another account that had received a severe violation.
However, when i later attempted to appeal the action affecting iii_Creta, i was informed that the moderation could not be reviewed because it was more than 30 days old, with the appeal timeline apparently being calculated from July 2024 date.
This creates a timeline discrepancy : the account remained accessible and usable until august 2025, but the appeal eligibility appears to be based on a moderation date from july 2024
Actual behavior
The account remained usable until august 2025, but the later enforcement appears to be treated as though it occurred in July 2024 when determining the appeal window
Evidence
- July 12, 2024 moderation record
- Evidence of continued used of iii_Creta in August 2025
- August 2025 moderation screen showing the linked account action and August 16, 2025 review date
Expected behavior
If an account remains accessible after an earlier moderation record, and a later enforcement is applied to the account in august 2025, the appeal eligibility and moderation history should clearly distinguish between the original moderation event and the later enforcement.
