So for quite some time I wanted to upload an OST that is most likely not copyrighted except Roblox said it violates the TOS but I have no clue what rule I am “breaking” I tried more than once to upload it but I always have the same issue please help here is the music if needed:
It comes from “everywhere at the end of time - phase 1” The title is not the issue by the way.

Yes this song IS copyrighted, and you are not allowed to use it without first purchasing the rights to use it. All music is automatically under intellectual property laws, unless otherwise specifically released by the label or the artist themselves.
While using this music in certain contexts i.e short clips of the song for a meme or parody would not fall under copyright laws (fair use), Roblox does not allow you to use copyrighted materials in any way without explicit permission from the rights holder. Considering you’re trying to upload the entire song without revisions, this is not allowed.
Well it might be available online and used in many artistic projects but it is still protected by copyright… So, even if the audio sounds like something that should be fine Roblox most likely flags it because it’s a recognisable, distributed composition that’s not public domain
I’m going to give you an advice from personal experience, use songs from sites like FreeSound or Incompetech or Chillhop with proper licenses (might not be the best content but I have never had any problems with Roblox regarding such matter)
I did not know it was copyrighted well this is sad My heart will stop in joy has great potential well I might try to do a “remix” thank you for your input everyone.
