okay so ive been having this issue for around a month and a half at this point, where roblox and a handful of other applications on my computer will not launch and all of these are credited to “network” issues. ive attached screenshots of the stuff that pops up, and i have gone through a pretty exhaustive list on ways to potentially fix it.
i know for a FACT it is not an issue with my network itself, as I have connected to other networks and the issue persists. should i attempt to launch any of the apps not working on this pc (namely roblox, studio, discord and medal) they will open without any issues.
i have gone through various threads on ways to fix it, and so far this is what i’ve done (to no avail)
DNS address change (the google one)
reset my router
reset my wifi
various cmd prompts
different networks
change my adapter
change to ivp4
change back to ivp6
uninstall roblox, reinstall, and then stop it while it says “starting” (it opens roblox as a temporary fix, however it breaks)
erradicate all traces of roblox from my pc
ip reset
something that masks my MAC address
allow roblox through firewall
disable firewall
disable antivirus (kaspersky)
whitelist roblox everywhere in my antivirus
various windows updates
reset my router again
i have NO clue on what to do so please help if you have any clue on whats happening
(as for whats happening for discord, it says failed to install update and keeps retrying, and medal just says it’s “experiencing server issues”, although im not asking for support on these apps specifically maybe them also having issues can hint at the larger issue that’s tripping roblox)
Studio refuses to even open so I’ll show the error message it gives me when that’s working, but it’s along the lines of “No internet connection. Check your network and try opening Studio again.”
