Roblox App is extremely laggy and movement and actions are delayed

Update Roblox works properly and smoothly only when using a mouse otherwise when using trackpad it starts to lag and actions get delayed

Interacting with any UI on roblox or pressing any keys have very delayed feedback doing anything on the roblox app is very buggy

my device is a MacBook M2 Air
I don’t use any extensions etc

video can’t be sent because the problem is so bad that when recording Roblox App crashes

I don’t think anyone else reported on this problem.

Expected behavior

for roblox to run smoothly actions not to be delayed and the UI interaction to be laggy

When did this start happening? Also is it Studio or just Client. Finally could you upload a Microprofiler capture?

Same issue
This happened before.
A fix for me was setting the FPS cap to 60fps (I’m on a MacBook Pro)

Does setting the FPS to 60 fix this problem for everyone? If someone could upload a Microprofiler capture, that would help us solve the problem.

The camera movement and character movement is very delayed and choppy.
(this only happens if I touch the trackpad)
(don’t worry about some assets not loading, that is an issue with my VPN)

Also happening to me, running macOS Tahoe on an M2 MacBook Pro. Started happening today, regardless of game. I don’t have any beta channels enabled.

Setting FPS to 60hz eliminates the input delays. I was on 240 previously.

Actually even if it seems laggy, the microprofiler still reads at 120fps

someone sent the details in this thread also I realized this issue is happening only when using trackpad when using a mouse everything works fine

it does for me somewhat?? its still a bit laggy and if i go fullscreen it just becomes unplayable again
