Upon joining any game with Mobile UI support, the Mobile UI is shown to me and shift-lock is disabled, EVEN THOUGH I AM ON DESKTOP. This issue only resolves if I have the touch screen on my laptop disabled through device manager.

Do you have a touch screen and are you using it to start Roblox? We don’t have a “mobile and Desktop” distinction, it’s based on your input and output method.

I saw this in your other post : this means that for some reason your case registers as your touch-input device.
No, I am not using the touch screen to start Roblox. In fact, most of the time I have the ScreenPad off using the key on my laptop.
What I mean is that the Roblox interface reacts to what the Windows OS tells it: the OS tells us if you a) have a touch screen and b) were using it. So clearly something is wrong here if you keep seeing the touch version.
Is there anything I could do to provide more information for you?
