One of the Roblox Articles Sections and even report actual reasoning on the actual discourse site itself, incorrectly uses the term “Friends” instead of the more proper term “Connections”. This is outdated terminology and comes off as inconsistent and rather questionable how this hasn’t been changed yet given the site-wide push of this brand new Roblox Policy. This is very obviously not intended behavior.
Despite other articles in the same category correctly using the term “Connections”, we can clearly see that there are some very obvious outliers within these examples I’ve provided. “Friend/Friends” shows up a total of 11 times in these articles. It should be 0. It becomes even more jarring when you can clearly see other articles within the same section using the correct terminology.
When I was creating this bug report, I also noticed the actual report section is also using the same outdated terminology. This one is just inexcusable. These need to be updated to reflect the new direction that Roblox is heading as it comes off as lazy when you see this outdated term being used in resources that are supposed to be informative and helpful. Hopefully this is quickly fixed.
Expected behavior
The intended behavior is that the term “Connections” should be correctly replacing “Friends” in everything I’ve just shown.
