Whenever I join a game and open the roblox core gui by clicking escape, my frames will drop to 20. After this, whenever any other normal GUI object becomes visible, my frames also drop to 20 for the time it is visible. I have tried reinstalling roblox and clearing the cache but neither of these worked.

i can confirm same thing appears to happen in production empty baseplate with just roblox’s playermodule no other scripts
bump, my friend on discord still has this issue and his PC is a little stronger than mine so he can see his FPS drop from 240 to 120 once he opens coregui
I dont know about you but this bug seems to have been fixed for me
yepp can confirm it got randomly fixed for my friend too
i guess its just roblox flipping FFlags and testing on all of us lol
