Roblox DevTools | QoL tools for developers

Roblox DevTools

I made a quick yet useful extension which includes QoL tools for Roblox developers.

Current features:

Exact Robux price calculation

Suggests what price to set to get the exact amount of Robux you want.

The official extension was only published on the Firefox add-ons store. If you’re using another browser, you can download the official extension from its GitHub repository.

It’s also available for Android!

This is a very helpful plugin, but for only one feature; can be improved.

Here are a few ideas:

Batch Asset Downloader

Allow developers to select multiple assets (decals, models, meshes, etc.) and download them all from their development items tab or a group’s development items tab all at once. (with proper filenames and formats)

Like/Dislike+
  1. Helps developers and players more accurately judge a game’s quality. And help developers to better understand what players like
  2. Add likes and dislikes without having to click on the actual game page.
Asset Info Tooltips

Integrating a settings menu possibly you could do this:
When hovering over an asset (in inventory, group store, or Catalog/Toolbox) you can preview this info if not shown already:

Roblox Web API Tester

A tool that lets you test Roblox’s public web API endpoints (like assets, games, badges) by sending GET/POST requests and viewing the raw JSON responses, perfect for debugging, learning API structure, or building external tools.

Improved Upload Error Messages

Shows clear upload error messages (like “File too large” or “Wrong format”) instead of generic “something went wrong” alerts.

I don’t really have an image for this but you can get the gist.

And maybe try getting it on the Chrome Web Store & Edge Store so it can be used on (Opera GX, Brave, etc.)

I think to add these to the plugin would be mega useful for a variety of different developers in any fields.

Hope this plugin gets out there!

It’s a start but considering it has one feature, I see no reason in posting it right now. Wait till it has at least 10 useful features.

i think 1 feature is good for posting, since its a open sourced code you can always add your own things i might try to make some myself. Not taking any credits but i would love to try some things if you have any requests!

Well considering the title says, “QoL tools” (plural), I’d expect at least a few. The feature already here is alright, I don’t see it needing it’s own post unless other things would be added along with it.
