I was thinking about developing a game that give players the ability to build whatever they want. For example (outside roblox) Robocraft, Minecraft or any games that let you build anything.
My concern is, what if the player build something inappropriate? I could implement a report and ban system. But what would Roblox think? What if some players just straight up report my game even though the players built something inappropriate?
TLDR : Player can build whatever they want in my game. What if they build something inappropriate?
They… would just report the player? You’re not the one putting inappropriate stuff. Drawing games exist.
This has also been talked about many times before and I doubt they would just ban your game when there’s many others out there.
Roblox allows these sort of games, and since it would be unrealistic for you to filter builds and roblox is a platform powering imagination they won’t do anything.
There is no obligation to as a developer, and as @IAmPinleon stated, 25% of Roblox’s revenue goes towards moderation, we might as well actually take advantage of that, given if we didn’t we might as well just take that and add it to dev ex.
