Roblox Follow API

Currently, players can only follow others through the Roblox website or app, but not directly inside a game.

This feature request proposes a Follow API, allowing developers to integrate a “Follow” button directly into their games — for example, inside a GUI, profile menu, or leaderboard.

Example use case:
• A social game could let players follow each other with one click after interacting.
• A roleplay or hub game could include a “Follow Player” button next to their avatar in a custom menu.
• Developers could use this API to help players stay connected across experiences.

Benefits:
• Makes following friends and creators much easier and more natural.
• Encourages community growth within games.
• Reduces friction — no need to leave the game to follow someone.

It’s a no-brainer not to add this when we already have an API to prompt a Connection/Friend-request. Following the same structure - prompting a user to follow another in-game user - would make it easy to start using immediately.
