Roblox game did not save

Yesterday, I was working on my game and made quite a bit of progress. Happy with my work, I saved the game and closed studio after I saw the Changes Saved messaged at the bottom. But when I opened the same game today, all my progress is just gone? I am devastated. Did something go wrong yesterday when I saved the game?

Sure, I can do it again and don’t mind it, but I just still wanted to know if I can get back my work somehow.

I have looked in the autosave folder and there is just 1 file with the same amount of progress as there is right now in my game.

There can be errors in programs, so next time to double check it

(not about scripts…)

This is the first time I have ran into this issue. Next time should I keep a copy of the game whenever I finish editing? Cuz I don’t want smthing like this to happen again.

You could do manually copy and paste or just saving it again but naming it (differently) like yourgamename-save2 in Roblox Studio
