Roblox game page trailer keeps getting rejected

When uploading a trailer for our game, I’m met with a constant error that our trailer does not meet the video quality guidelines, when it does.

Furthermore, the error message is really unclear. Why is the trailer being marked as not meeting the video quality guidelines, but I have no idea what it doesn’t qualify for? This behaviour should be improved so developers can know exactly why it’s failing in the first place.

Expected behavior

I expect to be able to upload our trailer without any issues

Hello,

These videos must be gameplay preview videos, which is a bit different from a trailer. Every video is reviewed before approval. The full policy is in our video guidelines documentation. I would also recommend taking a look at a sample gameplay preview video here

But here is a summary of the main guidance:

Do:

  • Capture real, current in-game footage
  • Show the actual core loop and what the world looks like
  • Feature multiple parts of your game if you want, as long as everything shown is in the game today

Don’t

  • Use cinematic trailers, dramatized gameplay, or graphics enhanced beyond what players actually see
  • Use real-life footage, voiceovers, narration, or music with lyrics
  • Show content that no longer exists in the game
  • Add promotional text to your video

I took a look at your video and see it doesn’t fully follow our guidelines. You may re-submit a new videos that follows the guidance I linked.
