In Roblox groups, you can set permissions for roles, but even if permissions such as using Community Funds are granted to users other than the group owner, those users are still unable to use the funds. It seems that there is an issue not only with fund usage, but with group role permissions overall. Nearly a month has passed, but the issue does not appear to have been resolved.
this has been an issue for much longer than a month, I can recall it happening at minimum start of 2025, at least for the community funds, I cant say so for the others.
Hello @1JX7Z can you describe what action you’re trying to use funds for?
Even if you enable the “Spend community funds” option in the group role permission settings and assign that role to another user, the user who receives the role cannot distribute the group funds to others or use them for themselves.
(There is no specific purpose required for using the funds, but currently only the group owner can use them. Even though there is a “Spend community funds” option in the role settings, it does not seem to function properly. It is inconvenient that only the owner is able to use the group funds.)
