Roblox has periodic degraded performance while using the site and in game

My situation is mostly similar to this post here but I will reiterate my case as it is a bit different.

Around the start of last week I started encountering problems with the site taking way too long to load. I thought this was weird because I experienced no delays in loading other services like YouTube, Spotify, etc. These “outages” happen periodically maybe like twice an hour. I was able to capture this screenshot here:

I also noticed that my character took very long to load into studio, correlating with the outages. I would like mention I have good internet, about a 1gb up and down, and have no other problems with it outside of Roblox currently.

Recently, or maybe just because I’ve been playing more games, I noticed that this is also a problem in game. Sometimes when I hit play I get this error message:

When I am able to launch the client its usually accompanied by a “Waiting for available server” loop, which is then accompanied by high inconsistent ping:

I’ve tested this on my phone with the mobile app and it also has the same trouble loading Roblox. If any engineers need more information or just want to hop into a call and get to the bottom of this, I’m more than happy to do so!

I can confirm something similar has been happening to me for around 10 days

Studio will randomly log me out to the point I had to relog 3 times within an hour, it will take longer than usual to load things and will do things it normally only does when you are on an unreliable connection, like load R15 characters on R6 places.
The website takes ages to load anything that the JS loads in, like robux and other things
The game page take a few minutes to load anything past the title and half the time the play button wont load at all
Though for me the player will continue to work okay-ish with only occasional lag spikes

I had all of that happen while I was watching 1080p60 youtube in the background just fine

Got Authentication error 0 and after dismissing the popup THIS happened

After attempting a rejoin it authenticated correctly and then got stuck at “Finding a server” and the HTTP error popped up again

Currently experiencing this too. Very frustrating. Couldn’t find much behind why its happening. Only started to occur recently.

I also starting having this issue within just the past week or two. The Roblox website and Roblox Studio loads slowly or not at all, and I get the same authentication errors. The Roblox apps usually take a long time to load, and I have the same error pop-ups mentioned in this thread.

This is only an issue with Roblox, everything else loads fine.

I too am experiencing the same issues with the Roblox platform loading very slowly, failing to load, and even kicking me out of my account in studio (instant logouts). Half of the time when I open the Roblox app, whether it’s on my phone or my computer, a pop up says “there was a problem connecting to our servers” which only dismisses by reopening the app.

I have been unable to access Roblox Studio for several days now, this is with a stable working gigabit fiber internet connection. I’m happy to provide more details or samples of the issues if needed.

Roblox Taking Forever to Load Games, Studio Bugging Out, HTTPS errors.... What's been going on lately?

~40 Data store 502 errors / day

Over the past week I’ve consistently had atleast one 502 data store error a day, and today atleast 40. (Yes I track them, Yes I counted) I believe this to be part of the cause of data loss amongst my player base, which considerably hurts my stat’s when players come back a day later after FTUE and realise none of their progress saved. studio always seems to log me out if its been a few days or the need to sign in every time I open it, this only started happening the last 2 or so months and it is honestly getting quite annoying. It’s funny how games with way less active and total users like games made by Activision or EA got way better servers and more servers spread out across the world. Roblox is simply just not investing much here. They got all the money and the resources to do it. Sure, they don’t have as much money as Activision or EA but it’s still enough to upgrade their current datacenters’ and invest in new ones.

Robux Not Loading on Website

Personally ive started experiencing issues where it would actually let me join the game but it wont load anything past the skybox. After around 10-20 seconds the game would just throw a disconnected error. Also studio will now sometimes just load me in as a noob.

I’ve reinstalled Roblox several times, completely wiped all temp files, wiped all Roblox AppData files, changed my DNS to Google’s (8.8.8.8) and am still encountering the same problems OP is discussing.

Unfortunately, it did not change anything. The problem is on Roblox’s end.

Severe Connection Problems

Quite recently, connecting to ANY Roblox service takes an incredibly long time. Does anyone happen to know whether they use Virginia servers or not? A user states that using other servers seems to solve the issue, so maybe it’s regional related?
