i understand that ROBLOX uses opportunities like this to push the stuff that they want to be highlighted (I.E. notable brand integrations, R15ā€¦), but this doesnā€™t feel like the full picture of the platform.

i just think the same few games in every category is extremely boring. i truly donā€™t think people will care about the results; i know i wonā€™t.

I personally really want nullscape, block tales, secret universe to win something, but like always the RIA is unfortunately just a popularity contest at the end of the day

Also why is steal a brainrot nominated twice on that one category
In my opinion at least, restricting games to 1 nomination in 1 category (with the exception of peopleā€™s choice) would make the awards more fair and interesting (so gag and sab or whateverā€™s popular isnt in half the categories, guaranteed to win every one)

The voting process is so poorly designed that I would call it rigged.

For starters, when voting for games, user might have never seen or played the game before, making it extremely likely that they will judge it by its thumbnail or just pick one that they know and disregard other games which they couldā€™ve liked more if they tried them.

For UGC creators you are showing their headshots of their avatars, as if you expect majority of users to know who they are and what they made; such users are extremely likely to judge them based on their avatar and not their work. This issue also applies to voice actors.

For Studio plugins you present RoPro as a choice, which is a browser extension with completely different target audience, not to mention that it is several orders of magnitudes larger than of a development tool, so statistically speaking it will win as there is less developers than gamers, and even less so that used the presented plugins.

I think they just took assets from RIA 25 hub, the previous hub had same mechanics

to be fair Iā€™m very much a fan of Piggy and Doors, Iā€™m just saying that like they both kinda swept the awards those years as the big new games lol
