Effective immediately, games will not be allowed in Roblox Kids and Select if they combine all of the following:
A media feed: short-form videos, images, or story-style posts.
A feed that autoplays, loops, or scrolls on its own.
A reward, or implied reward, for continued watching.
Why We Made This Change
Rewarding users to consume a continuous feed of content without natural stopping points is not appropriate for younger users.
What Qualifies Under the Policy
A game falls under this policy when all three of the following are true:
It displays a media feed to players: short-form videos, image feeds, or social media style stories.
It features or mimics at least one of the following mechanics: autoplay, continuous replay loop, infinite scroll, or autoscroll.
It includes reward mechanics that require, or imply the requirement of, ongoing viewing of that content.
We are actively reviewing games for compliance with the new policy. Games that do not follow this policy will be removed from Kids and Select unless the game mechanic is redesigned.
FAQs
Does this apply to Rewarded Video Ads?
No. Roblox’s system for allowing players to receive an in-game reward for completing a video ad does not feature continuous loops, autoplay, or infinite scroll design. The user must actively initiate the ad, and we apply rate limits to how many a user can watch.
What happens to players in Roblox Kids and Select who already play my game?
They will lose access until you make changes to comply with the policy stated above.
My game just qualified for Roblox Kids and Select. If I adjust my game mechanics to comply with this policy, do I still meet the Roblox Kids and Select qualification?
Games that are adjusted to meet the new policy will be re-reviewed for acceptance into Roblox Kids and Select. All other qualifications necessary to be included remain and the Engaged Player criteria will not reset.
What does it mean to “imply” the requirement of ongoing viewing of content?
If the average user believes consuming the media feed is a requirement for being rewarded, this policy applies.
Can you define what autoplay, continuous replay loop, infinite scroll, or autoscroll mean?
Autoplay: A user interface design that automatically begins to play content as soon as a webpage loads or when the user scrolls the item into view, requiring no manual “Play” click.
Continuous replay loop: A user interface design that seamlessly repeats the same content from beginning to end without stopping or showing a break.
Infinite scroll: A user interface design (also called continuous scroll) that dynamically and endlessly loads fresh posts as you move down the screen.
Autoscroll: A user interface design that moves the screen’s viewport vertically or horizontally through content automatically at a set speed, allowing viewing without manual scrolling or swiping.
This is a genuine breath of fresh air to see Roblox actually making good decisions for the health and quality of the platform instead of whatever will pump the stock up.

I can wish that the reward part wasn’t part of the list, since infinite-scrolling videos/images probably is a bad idea for kids in general, even with no reward (unless dopamine is a reward?). However, this is enough to avoid gamifying playtime stats.
Appreciate the quick and decisive action on this! I got extremely worried after noticing some users enticing young audiences into spending their time doomscrolling to AI-generated content for increased gain. Thank you!
Yeah this update is good , in very long time , autoplay, continuous replay loop, infinite scroll, or autoscroll games always in Home this update will prevent developers to make about these type of games and send this for Roblox Kids and Select.
