ROBLOX Launcher refuses to start [TEMPORARY FIX]

Upon being run, the RobloxPlayerLauncher application immediately crashes, and only gets as far as creating the folders ‘Roblox’ and ‘Versions’ in AppData\Local.

I’ve tried removing ROBLOX completely from my machine, and it still refuses to function properly. I’ve also restarted my computer, and cleared my browser cache. Also, I’ve ran it as administrator.

After checking the ROBLOX forums, I can confirm this is not just an issue for me.
