Roblox Moments recommendations are still broken

This is a follow-up to my earlier bug report (it got closed but nothing was fixed). I pointed out a problem with how Roblox Moments picks videos to show. Now, the feed sometimes shows videos with lots of reactions (20k-50k), but only from super popular games (like “99 Nights in the Forest” or those silly brainrot games that are trending). Videos from smaller games, like mine, still get almost no reactions (usually 0-100, maybe up to 500 at best). Before the recent updates, my videos got the same high numbers (20k-50k).
This makes it hard for smaller games to get seen or grow, since the system seems to favor big popular ones. As a game maker, my videos don’t show up or get likes like they used to. (Reactions mean the emoji likes on videos.)

Visual Aids:
• The first screenshot shows a moment from a popular game (1.9k reactions):

• The second screenshot is from another popular one (1.2k reactions):

• The third screenshot is from my game (3 reactions):

• Example of another popular one and its modded steal a brainrot game: New Game Join Me! - Roblox (by the way author of this game spams uploading them)

• My game and its Moments: [Free Admin!👑] Funny and exciting obby! - Roblox (videos here don’t get the same attention).

Expected behavior

Roblox Moments should pick and show videos based on how good or fun they are, no matter if the game is big or small. That way, games like mine can get the same views and reactions (like 20k-50k) as popular ones. It would make the platform fair for everyone and help more people find cool new games.

I know. They just automatically marked it, the admin who answered. But actually, the problem is still not solved.

Still patiently waiting for one of the Roblox staff who can talk about it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to share this feedback — it’s really helpful.

You’re right that content from larger experiences tends to get more visibility today. The current Moments ranking is heavily driven by user impressions and engagement signals, and right now players are engaging more with videos from the top experiences. So in that sense, what you’re seeing is expected behavior from the current system, not something specifically targeting smaller games.

That said, your point about fairness and discovery is absolutely valid, and it’s something we care about. We’re actively working on improving the system. One concrete area we’re investing in is increasing the diversity of content shown in Moments, so players are more likely to see different types of games and creators, not just the most popular ones.

Thanks for answering too! It’s not my first time reporting about it, and I’m so glad to see an answer  I just hope it gets better, like it was before with old recommendations system. I used to gain a lot of reactions, like 20k-30k, and it’s sad to see only 5 reactions per video now. Roblox moments helped my game a lot, but right now I’m stuck at the point of “no players” again, and I want to continue uploading videos about my game. I like Roblox moments and want to help the team that works on them. It would be interesting to hear your answer about Roblox moments “testers” or about improving recommendations :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
